| ...great music floats on the balmy, late summer breeze ..the sun is warm on your face and the smell of grass, soft beneath you, fills the air. Familiar faces are all around and a sense of belonging embellishes this carefree festival vibe. ...This day, this scene, is who you are. ...Welcome to Ireland’s only dance music festival for 2003. |
| Mr Planet Love himself Paul Van Dyk and that famous Italian Mauro Picotto will play primetime sets in the Love Arena and the Love Allstars arenas, respectively, completing what is the most spectacular array of dance music DJs to be seen in Ireland this year.
Paul Van Dyk is the adopted son of Planet Love since the festival began in 1998. He has played each of the five festivals since then - the first one marking his Irish debut - and as the festival has grown into the first class event it is today, so too has Paul Van Dyk developed into one of the most acclaimed, and most successful DJs and producers on the global dance music scene. In many countries of the world, and particularly the UK and Ireland, multiple awards, glorious headlines and acclaim for his pioneering contribution to "electronic dance music" as he calls his sound, have been lavished on the Berlin man.
And this past few years has seen Italian DJ and producer Mauro Picotto enjoy the same level of celebrity and renown across the world. Placed at Number 7 in the DJ Magazine’s definitive world DJ poll, and having been voted by Irish clubbers ‘BBm Magazine International DJ of the Year’ for two years running, Mauro is the Irish majority’s DJ of choice right now. Uniquely, his pounding, genre-bending, high energy DJ sets draw admiration from devoted fans of techno, trance, tech-house and even hard house!, so his Love03 set will undoubtedly be one of the most anticipated DJ sets of the day.
And so, as butterflies rumble in the excited tummies of Ireland’s clubbers, the countdown commences for the biggest most star studded clubbing event of the year.
Love03 - Ireland’s very own festival, produced by local promoters for the dance music fans of Ireland - is going to royally ROCK! |
