Was outside the Love Arena and had just met my friend, we both looked over to the Love Arena, started walking over, and I faintly heard PVD dropping his live edit of ‘Nothing But You’ - which happens to be my favourite track of all time. So I ran into the arena, pushed my way to the front and listened to the sheer brilliance that is Paul Van Dyk. As I watched him producing his track live in front of us, I felt such euphoria and for the first time ever, I wanted to cry because I was having such an amazing time! - My Planetlove Memory... I will never forget. |

Well all I can say is I had a fab. time at last year’s event. My husband and I had wanted to get married at the event but didn’t know how to go about it. Anyway we had to make do with the next best thing and managed to get registered as the first leap year couple in the Antrim Civic Centre at 9.30am in the morning! In a way this is our leap year planet love event and looking forward to even bigger and better things...including all those mad DJs we met in the V.I.P lounge. See you all soon :P |

Being about 16 at the festival up at Nutts Corner, everyone was sitting on the floor of the space tent (oh the memories lol) smoking, relaxing then suddenly Prodigy ‘Voodoo People’ started blasting out - everyone immediately jumped to their feet and proceeded to jump about like headcases playing air guitar, QUALITY!!! |

Well where to start is the main question I must ask myself. I have to say there have been so so many great memories from over the years I have attended! I think the best memory I had was of last year when I was standing in the love tent with a few friends near to the end! As we were dancing with thousands of many other people, I heard a bang and the next minute confetti started falling from the sky above Planetlove! It was a night I will never forget because of the atmosphere and the whole way the organizers really did a great job for organizing a moment I will cherish for the rest of my clubbing days! Here is the photo of that moment last year I managed to get on my phone! I would just like to say good luck to everybody who enters this competition and would also like to say a big thanks to Eddie Wray and Judith Farrell as by witnessing that moment last year I can see there was a whole lot of hard work and effort that went into making the festival! Good luck to all. Many thanks, Gareth. |

My favourite Planetlove memory is from 2006 in the new look Goodgreef tent. The crowd was electric and going mental, which set the stage for Alex Kidd to go on and do what he does best - blow the roof off the place! I love planet love! :D |

Apart from the stress and pressure and the worry (nice, lol!), myself and Judith always made a point of going out onto the stage of the main arena at the only time we could - which is usually the last half hour of the event - and it always coincided with Paul van Dyk’s set, and ‘For An Angel’. Above all else, that’s my favourite Planetlove memory. And seeing the crowd in raptures - that in itself made everything we had gone through worthwhile. |

Faithless are my most favourite EVER band. Booking them to headline Planetlove99 was a dream come through for me, both from a fan AND a promoter point of view.
On the day of the show, just before they went on stage, I went to their dressing rooms to accompany them to the main love arena to perform. Maxi Jazz greeted me with a kiss on the cheek, said hello and started talking to me. I tried to speak back to him but nothing came out. I simply couldn't talk - I was so star-struck that I was rendered ACTUALLY speechless. And very embarrassed too.
However, the thrill I got later when they were on stage hearing them play 'Insomnia' was the biggest tune buzz of my life.
A great memory indeed. |

My favourite Planetlove memory is Eric Morillo playing 'Shiny Disco Balls' in the Essential Selection Arena at Love 02.
I remember running over from the VIP tent after Dusted's set and the place was bunged. We'd missed the first few minutes but the place was already bouncing about with a real happy vibe.
It wasn't hard to get into the mood for this one and then all of a sudden he dropped ‘Shiny Disco Balls’ and the place went absolutely mental...excellent stuff! Was quality meeting Pete Tong too just before he went on. |

PLANETLOVE 2003...Rendezvous Arena...1000 people going crazy to the sounds of Charly Lownoise.
The Dutch hardcore maestro surprised a few people by playing thirty minutes of Hard Style before moving on to his trademark bouncy, happy hardcore. However, the atmosphere when he dropped ‘Hardcore Feelings’ followed by ‘Wonderful Days’ was simply amazing and will live long in my memory. |

My favourite memory has to be Paul van Dyk dropping Fred Baker & Greg Nash - ‘Lunar Eclipse' in the Love arena at Planetlove 2007, after teasing it in and editing it in his live Ableton set it kicked in and the ice cannons set off, followed closely by him playing ‘For an Angel’ live with synths = true Planetlove moments! |

Last year's Planetlove. As I walked into the site, the most amazing noises, and colours, and lights assaulted my senses.
Which arena should I enter first? Each with an individual character and with different levels of emotion.
I tasted and relished them all. Can't wait to return. |
