Love Arena:

Dave Clarke:

Arguably the most popular visiting techno DJ to Irish shores for the past 15 years, Clarke played one of the best sets of Planetlove 2008.
Derrick Carter:

Chicago legend behind the Classic Recordings label is one of the most popular underground house DJs.
HOT CHIP (Felix & Al - DJ Set):

This bunch have made some of the funkiest pop music of the past five years, and will surprise and entertain with their love of cutting-edge techno and house.
ARVEENE & MISK (live):

Newly signed to Gung Ho Records, the Spin FM host and erstwhile Splitlooper have already got a nationwide tour under their belts and will be one of the highlights.
JOHNNY MOY:

LISA LASHES:

SHOWTEK:

The high-octane Dutch hardstyle champion is huge in the North and on the continent.

The set Clubmix is looking forward to most in this arena comes from the new star of BBC Radio 1FM. The most technically gifted DJ you may ever see.
DARK BY DESIGN:

Gaz West is such a deft producer he can knock out an entire album before lunch. Leans towards hardstyle.

The Tracid Traxxx lynchpin act is one of the most exciting German producers and is making his Irish debut.

Letrik Arena:

Irish clubbing brand Letrik bring their euphoric sounds to Planetlove for the first time. Trance, trance and more trance as some of the newest, brightest and most talented international acts in the genre take control of the decks. Cosmic Gate, Sean Tyas, Marcus Schossow, Jon O’Bir, Sied van Riel, Stoneface & Terminal, Paul Webster, Mac & Taylor, Bryan Kearney, Xcentrix, Michael Doherty.
Cosmic Gate:

Celebrating ten years in the industry Cosmic Gate have been at the forefront of trance production since they exploded on to the scene in 1999.

Their early hits ‘Fire Wire’ and ‘Exploration of Space’ destroyed dancefloors across the world and earlier this year the German duo released their fourth artist album Sign Of The Times.
Sean Tyas:

Most famed for his productions ‘Lift’ and ‘Drop’, US native Sean Tyas has been leading the way in euphoric trance for the past three years.

He regularly plays for the biggest clubbing brands in the world in places as far afield as South America, Asia and Australia and recently collaborated on tracks with the likes of Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond!
Marcus Schossow:

At only 23 Marcus Schossow has already won a loyal legion of fans right across the globe.

His 2007 smash track ‘Mr White’ set him apart from the crowd, fusing together futuristic techno, filthy house and elements of trance.

Since then Schossow has been snapped up by Dutch agency Spinnin, won heavyweight support for his productions and secured gigs across the planet. A name to watch in 2009...
Jon O’Bir:

Former Passion and M8 Magazine DJ competition winner, Godskitchen resident and Radio 1 favourite...Jon O’Bir has achieved a lot in the past seven years.

Now managing his own record label, Conspiracy Recordings, DJing in countries like Germany, USA and Vietnam and producing tracks that are regularly picked up by Paul van Dyk for his record label Vandit, O’Bir continues to be one of the UK’s favourite trance artists.
Sied van Riel:

Described by Tiesto as 'the hottest producer around' Sied van Riel is one of the most exciting music makers and trance DJs on the circuit.

Effortlessly mixing his way through sets jam-packed with his own tracks the inspiring trance don never fails to satisfy a crowd wherever he plays.

Hosts his own radio show - Realistic - on www.ah.fm and various FM and internet stations worldwide.
Stoneface & Terminal:

Stoneface & Terminal are one of the most inspiring trance acts on the planet!

Hailing from Germany, the production and DJ duo’s tracks are regularly supported by industry heavyweights like Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul van Dyk and Ferry Corsten.

And with radio shows, mix CDs and gigs across the world Stoneface & Terminal is a name you are going to be hearing a lot more in the coming months...
Paul Webster:

Irish DJ/producer Paul Webster has been winning the backing of the world’s top DJs since the release of his first track ‘Corruption’ in 2006.

‘Corruption’ was signed by Armin van Buuren to his record label Armada and won support from the likes of Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell and Marco V.

Regularly plays at clubs across Ireland and the UK.
Mac & Taylor:

Described as 'new breed tech-trance legends' by download site Trackitdown.net, Mac & Taylor are the Liverpool duo taking clubland by storm.

Original productions, remixes, reworks and bootlegs of some of the most famous dance tracks of all time has catapulted Mac & Taylor to the forefront of the UK’s trance scene and won them sets at some of dance music’s biggest events including Planetlove Ireland!
Bryan Kearney:

On the airwaves of Irish radio since 2002 Bryan Kearney has went on to establish himself as one of the country’s most promising DJs and producers.

Currently working on a number of trance, techno, tech-house and electro productions under different guises and DJing across Europe 2009 is the year that could see Kearney rise to the next level within the world of electronic music.
Michael Doherty:

Starting with music at the age of 11 on his parents old record deck Michael Doherty uses every genre of music known as inspiration.

Loving to get the audience and crowd involved with his national radio show Doherty seamlessly merges dirty electro and uplifting tech-trance to create an inspiring experience for dance music lovers nationwide.

'Don’t be afraid to be different', he exclaims.
Love 90s Outdoor Stage:

The first ever outdoor stage at Planetlove Ireland! Dance in the sunshine to some of the biggest acts of all time as the 90s are revisited in all their musical glory. Expect massive anthems like N-Trance - ‘Set You Free’, Livin’ Joy - ‘Dreamer’ and Culture Beat ‘Mr Vain’ ("Calling Mr Vain"). Dream Frequency, Culture Beat, N-Trance, Livin’ Joy, K-Klass, Fragma, John Kerrigan, Ken Gardiner, Daragh Kelly, Paul Coady, Senan Shortt. Hosted by 90s dance legend Micky Mac.

Set You Free’s Irish life was born in Dublin’s Olympic Ballroom in 1992 but it didn’t become a chart hit until 1995 and is still played today.

Renowned Pulse FM DJ with a penchant for classic anthems.
SENAN SHORTT:

Arguably the nicest guy in Irish dance music and one of the most passionate oldskool DJs in southern Ireland.
MICKY MAC:

The RTE 2FM legend will be introducing all of the acts at Planetlove.
Irish Legends Arena:

One of the philosophies of Planetlove is the nurturing of local talent. Here you will find the best of Irish legends like Al Gibb, mixed with some of the most talented up and coming artists in the country. Al Gibbs, Timmy & Tommy, DJ Pressure, Banana Boys, Mucca, Orla Feeney, Neal Scarborough, Jonno Brien, Tom Lavin, Tony Watters.
Al Gibbs:

Freaks On Friday frontman AL Gibbs is one of Ireland’s most iconic spinners.

DJing in clubs around the country for over 17 years Gibbs has also played for some of the UK’s biggest clubbing brands including Gatecrasher, Cream and Homelands.

Currently hosts his radio show on FM 104
Timmy & Tommy:

Winners of Best Single for ‘Full Tiltin’ and Best Label for Full Tilt Recordings at the recent Irish Dance Music Awards Timmy & Tommy are enjoying nationwide success as both DJs and producers.

Currently playing right across Ireland, the duo had their record label selected by Eddie Halliwell for the Album Sampler segment of his BBC Radio 1 show in 2008
Banana Boys:

Dublin duo Banana Boys are Keno Flanagan and DJ Orbit who teamed up whilst playing in the Ormond Centre in the city.

DJing throughout Dublin and beyond the guys are famed for their house, electro and techno grooves.
Mucca:

Cork’s number one house DJ playing the freshest beats and grooves in some of Irelands leading venues like the Savoy Theatre.

Has shared billing with worldwide superstars like Sander van Doorn and Scot Project!
Orla Feeney:

Orla Feeney is arguably Ireland’s fasting rising female DJ with weekly gigs in cities like Dublin, Cork and Belfast and international appearances in countries like Scotland, Czech Republic and Ibiza!

Having held regular slots on Dublin’s Spin 1038FM Feeney now resides on the airwaves of RTE Pulse and her first production ‘Cosmic Strip’ has just been signed to Paul van Dyk’s record label Vandit.
Neal Scarborough:

Neal Scarborough first established himself as a DJ through primetime shows on top Dublin dance stations Kiss, Pulse and Club FM.

Has productions are signed by worldwide renowned labels like Armada and Discover and 2009 sees Scarborough release more tracks than ever before with ‘Wiretap’, ‘Panama’ and ‘Tiberium’ just three examples.
Jonno Brien:

Since 1994 Jonno Brien has been playing house, techno and trance with clubbing institutions like Planetlove, Godskitchen, Slinky and Ministry of Sound.

He is resident in Horan’s, Tralee, and is the promoter behind club nights Homegrown and Fusion.

In 2008 Brien released his first production ‘My Groove & Enforcement’ and has saw his tracks supported by some of the world’s leading DJs.
Tom Lavin:

Tom Lavin has held residencies in some of Galway’s best clubs including The Radisson nightclub, GPO and Cuba.

He was resident DJ and co-promoter of the infamous HEAT clubnight and has played for some of the UK’s biggest clubbing brands including Planetlove, Godskitchen, Goodgreef and Cream.

Lavin currently runs his own show on i102-104 and co-promotes his own club night ‘Requie’
Tony Watters:

Hailing from Donegal, house jock Tony Watters won Best Resident DJ in last year’s Irish Dance Music Awards.

He has played at world DJ days, Planetlove and Homelands as well as Eden and Es Paradise in Ibiza and venues right across Ireland.
Hed Kandi VIP:

Luxury and exclusiveness! Headed up by the UK’s most fashionable and lush house music brand; Hed Kandi. Hosted by Hed Kandi residents Phil Faversham, Andy Daniels and Jim Breese and completed by some of the coolest Irish artists around. Phil Faversham, Andy Daniels, Jim Breese, Johnny Hammond, Derek M, Paul Webb, Graham Bray, Damo Kay.

Phil Faversham:

Head of Hed Kandi’s A&R Phil Faversham is the man in the know at one of the UK’s biggest electronic music brands.

Having played at Hed Kandi nights across the globe Faversham knows how to work a sleek and sexy crowd to the max!
Andy Daniels:

Andy Daniels is synonymous with the club scene in Manchester; DJing in the city’s venues from the 1980s.

Since joining Hed Kandi over 3 years ago he has travelled the world playing the Kandi sound as well as most of the UK’s top clubs and festivals.

Daniels is currently working on productions with fellow Hed Kandi jock David Dunne.
Jim Breese:

Jim Breese is one of the most exciting DJ talents emerging from the UK club scene.

He is currently headlining the worlds greatest clubs as resident DJ for Hed Kandi.

Breese is also renowned for his love of edgier, alternative genres including Balearic chillout, cosmic disco and deep house.
Paul Webb:

Pirate Radio, Creamfields, warming up for Paul Oakenfold at Feile and T in The Park in Glasgow on the same weekend - it’s fair to say Paul Webb knows a bit about making people dance!

Currently hosts his weekly radio show, Spin Balance, on Spin SouthWest every Friday night from 21.45-00.45 and DJs in venues right across the county.
Graham Bray:

Graham Bray has played in some of Ireland’s leading clubs, including Delicious @ The Clarence, Sligo, where he held his first residency six years ago.

As well as DJing for numerous clubs Bray has stepped into the world of promotion with his own night 'WORKITOUT' - playing host to everything from underground tech-house to techno.
